Currently China is only allowing couples to have one child, but if this change goes through, then couples can have up to two children.
This wouldn’t be the first time that China has changed it’s policy if the change comes through. At the end of 2013, couples were allowed to have a second child as well but only slightly more then a million families applied.
The government isn’t exactly open to change yet and want’s to keep Chinese citizens from knowing anything that they shouldn’t know.
